| Our nuclear grade hose-in-hose system is a safe, cost-effective and proven alternative to steel piping for above-ground waste transfers. The material flexibility allows for easy routing, and our hose systems are easy to install and remove, minimizing worker exposure and reducing labor costs.Columbia Energy’s hose system has undergone rigorous testing under our NQA-1 quality assurance program. Each lot of hose material and all finished hose-in-hose assemblies are thoroughly tested prior to delivery, ensuring safety, reliability and durability of performance. Our internally expanded fittings allow for full-flow and reduce material hold-up, providing you with a system that is dependable and consistent in its flow delivery. The hose-in-hose system is compatible with both radiological materials and hazardous chemicals (EPDM and EPR). With performance that is equivalent to ASME B31 piping, our hose-in-hose system is less expensive than steel pipe to procure, install and maintain. |
