Columbia Energy’s engineering staff presents both breadth and depth in engineering experience.  Our multi-disciplinary staff includes chemical; mechanical; electrical/instrument and controls; civil/structural; environmental; and nuclear engineers. Our staff has experience supporting various DOE nuclear sites, the commercial nuclear industry, and commercial non-nuclear industries. Our core strength is the design and integration of complex systems for managing, retrieving, transferring and storing radioactive mixed waste. Our staff includes senior professionals and mentored junior personnel.  Many of our senior engineers are licensed Professional Engineers, have post-graduate degrees, and/or professional certifications.
