Drive ShaftWe have a full-time team of design drafting experts experienced in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control (I&C), facility, structural construction, nuclear, and prototype design.Our experienced staff has developed many designs, from conception through construction, for the nuclear industry, as well as many commercial industries.Columbia Energy maintains a rigorous ASME NQA-1 compliant quality assurance program to ensure the highest quality standards are met for every project. The design drafting staff uses the Autodesk 2009 software suite which includes AutoCAD®, Inventor®, Civil 3D®, and P&ID.

Drafting Fabrication Support

Our drafting fabrication support team works hand-in-hand with prototype engineers to provide support to our in house prototype and testing shop. We develop fabrication and testing drawings and research materials. Our fabrication shop manufactures vendor parts for use in construction, and we offer fabrication support including     as-built drawings.

Electrical Drafting

In electrical drafting, our experience includes the Tank Farm Motor Control Center, Waste Retrieval Systems for S 112, S 102, UX 302A, S-302 and U 200 a programmable logic controller, Wiped-Film Evaporator & Controller for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and multiple Homeland Security Mega-Port Projects.
